The primary mission of Academy College of Computer Technology
is to teach and guide students along a career path that will bring them
success in the workplace. Our faculty is deeply committed to teaching
students real world job and career enhancement skills.
In the Computer Technology area students can earn a Bachelor degree, an
Associate degree, or a Certificate in Computer Science. All Computer
Technology students have the opportunity to develop the proper balance
of business and computer technology skills, regardless of the program
they choose. In our five major programs --
Database, Network, Security, Software Programming, and Technical
Support -- we provide students with concentrated
| technical courses, research projects,
hands-on experience, and a solid foundation for computer certifications
that will give them the competitive edge in the marketplace. After the
completion of these programs, students can choose to continue their
educational experience by earning a Bachelor degree in Computer
Science. Our instructors, who are programmers,
software trainers, developers, technicians, webmasters, and network
administrators, are vigilant of the technical skills and work habits
that students need to find jobs and succeed in the workplace. Our
instructors are also skilled in helping students develop job searching
skills and professional development strategies that will enhance their
on-the-job performance.
