Medical
Assistants are vital members of the health care community.
Medical Assistants know how to measure height, weight, pulse, and
temperature in preparing their patient’s medical history.
Academy College graduates also know how to administer injections, apply
bandages and dressings, and record electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG).
Medical Assistants may also complete the administrative tasks
associated with a medical office; these tasks may include patient
record maintenance, basic bookkeeping, and front office services.
Academy College graduates have both the technical and administrative
knowledge to make them invaluable in any medical office! |
